Macondia, futuristic fashion that renews the style of Latin America

Cartagena and New York merged to create Macondia, a futuristic fashion brand that seeks to transform Latin American fashion into a more visionary and extroverted fashion through art, photography and aesthetics.

How did Macondia arise?

Macondia is a futuristic fashion brand with origins in Cartagena and New York. It arises with the union of its two co-founders: María Gabriela Pareja (CD) and Daniela Díaz (CEO).

These creative minds sought to materialize a brand that would break with the classic style of Latin America, which usually focuses on beachwear fashion, and present a disruptive proposal that integrates photography, art, culture and aesthetics with a global vision and influence based on in life experiences.

The inspiration of Macondia

Macondia is deeply inspired in Colombia  roots. For the founders of Macondia, it was born from a combination of the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez (“Macondo”) and Colombia, their native country.

María Gabriela and Daniela seek to share the beauty of their country, the well-known phenomenon of magical realism and its designs with the world but in a different way, renewed and with a soul completely adapted to the current environment.

For this reason, through Macondia they seek to break with the stigmas that exist regarding Latin American fashion and demonstrate that original brands can also be created in this territory, with an artistic perspective and a modern vision that is anticipating the future of fashion world.

Macondia, disruptive garments

Macondia is a disruptive fashion brand because it does not follow established trends or established patterns of creation. It seeks to create its own style through different materials and designs that express its brand personality from the smallest garment to the largest.

Their designs are characterized by handling the style of a futuristic fashion, ahead of our time and with vibrant colors that will make you stand out wherever you go.

An example of this is its Citrus Green set, which is characterized by its vibrant green color, pockets, laces and asymmetrical cuts that play with the shapes of nature to give you an avant-garde and sophisticated style.
