Clothing - Sleepwear
Arguably one of the best parts about my nighttime routine would be slipping into bed. Kicking off my shoes, pulling the covers up, and resting on my pillow is one of the greatest feelings in the world. And wearing some pajama pants or loungewear just elevates the feeling even more. From camis and satin shorts to sleep rompers, pajamas are where it’s at.
I’ve totally all slept in my old T-shirts, joggers, and random articles of comfy clothing that work well as a PJ set. But owning an official pajama set, long-sleeve sleep shirt, or robe elevates my night and puts me in the perfect mood to get cozy.
Women’s Pajama Sets
Whether you have one or a few, sleep sets are always fun to have on hand for those nights you just want to feel a little more put together. Pajama sets come in a top and bottom, either long-sleeved tops and pants, short-sleeve tops and short sets, or vice versa.
Pajama tops can be V-neck, crewneck, scoop neck, or more. I think the new arrivals to the world of women’s sleepwear can be just as chic as high-profile swimwear or party dresses.
In the spring and summer, you might want to opt for a camisole and shorts pajama set, like the adorable Zante White Mujer PJs from Muun Sleepwear. Cotton and cotton blends are a fan favorite when it comes to breathable PJs.
For the colder seasons, I might opt for a set with a long-sleeved top and pants, like the Pink Dots Pantalón Dama or the Picnic Classic Infantil sets from Muun Sleepwear.
When the wintertime comes calling, I always make sure to invest in a flannel pajama set, similar to Muun Sleepwear’s Holiday Infantil Pantalón. Flannel PJs will not only keep me warm in the winter but will also make for a cute holiday look for a cozy vibe.
Sleepshirts
If you prefer sleeping sans pants or shorts (maybe just in luxe lingerie), then a sleepshirt is a good pajama top. Not only are they extremely comfortable and easy to throw on, but they are also a more stylish take on a classic lace trim nightgown. Plus, you can always wear them with a pair of sleep shorts or even layer them with your softest hoodie or sweatshirt for a cozier feel.
Sleepshirts are also great for colder seasons if you tend to be a warm sleeper or if you get cold easily but live in a warmer climate. A sleepshirt such as the Creta Candy Boyfriend Shirt from Muun Sleepwear provides me with the perfect balance between temperatures.
Robes and Slip Dresses
A kimono/robe is another stylish yet comfortable choice since I can easily throw them over my PJs. Usually made from a breezy fabric like satin or modal, a robe like Zikomo’s Emerald Tiger gives me access to the comfort of my favorite sweater and elevates my nighttime style.
If you like wearing shorter things, then a short kimono similar to the Amazonian Toucan by Zikomo would be a good option.
Sweet Dreams and Sweeter Styles
Going to bed is, in and of itself, one of the best parts of anyone’s nighttime routine. To elevate that feeling, add a pajama set, a sleepshirt, or a robe to your shopping bag.
I love an extra level of luxe in my nightwear collection to make me feel a little more put-together in my nighttime routine. It helps me fall asleep and wake up on the right side of the bed every morning — truly the essence of beauty sleep.
