Ikiti Aulex: A Brand Born from Family Traditions

Ikiti Aulex: A Brand Born from Family Traditions

Ikiti Aulex is a 100% Mexican brand that emerged during the pandemic as a hobby. This was possible thanks to the fact that Natalia Fitch's family has been making woven clothes or accessories for generations, with her grandmother and aunts.

In July 2020, Natalia created Ikiti's social media while her mother knitted the garments. With the success of the brand, Natalia began creating new designs. Together, they went from having a hobby to having a handmade woven clothing business for authentic, confident people who like to express themselves through their style.

Ikiti Aulex: A Brand That Pays Homage to Their Ancestors

In honor of Natalia's paternal great-grandmother, they searched for a name that would highlight their indigenous roots and commemorate that important part of their history, full of culture and tradition. This is how they came up with the name Ikiti, which in Nahuatl means weaving, and Aulex means magic. Thus, they honored an important part of their family and identity.

Ikiti Aulex: Handcrafted and Custom-Made Garments by Mexican Hands

Currently, Ikiti Aulex's unique products are made in Cuernavaca, Morelos by Mexican women. They offer clothing with an original proposal, handwoven, personalized, and authentic designs. Additionally, the garments are custom-made, encouraging conscious consumption and production. Each piece or design is made especially for the person who acquires these garments.

Ikiti Aulex is committed to a better future for women

Ikiti Aulex is currently a socially responsible brand that works with women who are in the process of social reintegration, have experienced violence, or are going through a difficult time in their lives.

Today, Ikiti is collaborating with the "Mujeres de Luz" foundation in Cuernavaca, Morelos, to provide knitting workshops so that these women can eventually join the Ikiti Aulex family and benefit financially.
