By Lima is a swimwear brand created by two young entrepreneurs, Mia and Sofia Boyan, who experienced the difficulty of finding modern, affordable and sustainable swimwear. With the aim of creating essential pieces that meet these characteristics, they launched By Lima in January 2022.

By Lima: a durable and quality garment for any woman.

Mía and Sofía understood the importance of having resistant, durable garments that fit the needs of any woman. In this way, By Lima was born, a firm that understands that women need swimsuits with which they can feel comfortable and free.

However, they encountered several obstacles on their way, such as a production scam and problems with raw material costs. Despite this, By Lima, which is an abbreviation of the founders' last names, Boyan and Lima, managed to get over it and move on.

A successful first year

In its first year, By Lima has managed to participate in fashion shows, such as the one organized by DIF Isla Mujeres, in order to raise funds for CENDI. Its most popular products are The Classic swimsuit and The Timeless one-shoulder full suit, which have been very popular with the public.

By Lima and the sustainability of its pieces.

By Lima focuses on creating high-quality garments, with fabrics made from Econyl, a regenerated material that comes from ghost fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans. By Lima works with women from local and low-income communities to produce its swimsuits. They are currently working on a new collection that they hope to launch in the summer.

With only one year on the market, By Lima has managed to position itself as an elegant, inclusive brand with a strong commitment to sustainability.
